Monopalooza 2008

South Lake Tahoe, CA.
Feb. 28th through March 2nd 2008

We're expecting a bigger Monopalooza than last year with visitors from Australia, Canada, England, Scotland, Korea, Italy and of course from all over the US!

Now that the Warren Miller movie "Off the Grid" has been released, more people have been exposed to Monopalooza than ever before! We've got some newbies coming out this year and who really knows how many people are going to show, do we ever know???

We're planning another festive and fun Monopalooza with all the events you've grown to love and yet more new surprises for 2008. Day 1 will be at either Kirkwood or Sierra at Tahoe, Day 2 and 3 at Heavenly Valley and day 4 at whichever we didn't go to on Day 1. (freshie dependant of course!)

Win raffle tickets by placing in each of the events at this year's Monopalooza or purchase them at awards night. Yama is donating a couple "tools" and some accessories and Chronic Ski Co. is donating a couple Durets and some other yummie prizes as well!

2007 winners:

Downhill: Scott Hicks
Skate ski race: Lee Dube
3-legged race: Chris Trippin and Tucker Brown
Wheelbarrow race: Who won, we can't remember???
Pole race: Tucker Brown
