Monopalooza Schedule
The Squaw Valley Skiing Magazine article and the Warren Miller movie "Off the Grid" has given the monoski
new exposure. People seem to know about it in lift lines and more know what the monoski is, though most the kids
still call it a snowboard-ski and monoboard seems to be the choice word for most others that aren't fimiliar with the sport.
More people have been exposed to Monopalooza than ever before, and the European movement is gaining ground!
Monopalooza is really more of ski club that has fun together and not so much an organized event like many in the ski
world are used to. Our goal is to have fun, and hang out and ski with friends... and of course rent a ridiculously lavish
mansion to party in each year!!!
We're planning another festive and fun Monopalooza with all the events you've grown to love. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are our main days
and we'll be at Snowmass on Friday, Aspen Highlands on Saturday and Ajax on Sunday.
The main group will arrive on Monday Feb. 22nd at the Monopalooza House. We'll be meeting in Glenwood SPrings about 2PM
and heading to 190 Letey Lane from there. You can organize your iteneraries at www.lateralpressure.com, Please use the sticky captions
for all scheduling.
Win raffle tickets by placing in the top three in each of the events at this year's Monopalooza or purchase them at awards night.
Coda is donating a monoboard and some accessories and Chronic Ski Co. is donating a monoski and some other yummie prizes too!
