Monopalooza 2010 Schedule: (There might be minor changes, but all ski days and meeting locations are solid.)

Monday Feb 22nd: Group will leave Leadville and head to Costco in Gypsum to buy TONS of food around noon. Meet at the Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co. at 2:00PM or so, head to the Monopalooza from there at approximately 4:00PM. Arrive at the Monopalooza House on 190 Letey Ln. Aspen, CO. 81656

Tues. Feb 23rd: Snowmass: Shuttle in today, figure out potential parking for Friday and learn shuttle schedule from and to the house. Woody Creek morning pick-up is 7:08, 8:08 and 9:08, probably by the house at the :15’s. Pick-up at the transfer lot is at 4:30, 5:30 etc. We will hunt for a location for the down hill which takes place on Friday. We will ski skiers right much of the day today, at the Gondola, Two Creeks, Elk Camp, Alpine Springs and High Alpine lifts. We’re saving the other side of the mountain skiers left for Friday.

8:30: to 9:30: Meet at the center village ticket office, we will hang out and wait for everybody.
12:00: Café Suzanne for lunch.
3:30: Apres at Sneaky’s Tavern at the Center Village base area. Catch shuttle back to transfer lot for 5:30 Woody Creek shuttle…. Hopefully!

Wed. Feb. 24th: Aspen Highlands: There is a small lot at the base that is Free if you carpool with 4 or more people, otherwise its $13. Get there by 8:15 to be sure you get a place… earlier on Saturday.

8:30: Meet at the base area Ticket Office.
9:30: Second Group, Meet at the base area Ticket Office.
12:00: Lunch at the Merry-go-round Inferno Café mid-mtn.
3:30: Apres at ZG Grill at the base.

Thurs. Feb. 25th: Ajax (Aspen Mtn.): This might be an off day for a few people, if you’d like to head to Glenwood Springs to go to the Hot Springs, this is the day, otherwise, skiing at Ajax. There is no parking downtown. If not staying downtown, park at a transfer lot. There is a free shuttle system running constantly through town. Sunday, parking is free… get there early.

8:30: Meet at the base area Ticket Office at Gondola Plaza.
9:30: Second Group, Meet at the Ticket Office at Gondola Plaza
12:00: Lunch at the Sundeck, top of the mountain.
3:30: Apres at Ajax Tavern at the Base area.

Official Monopalooza days:

Fri. Feb 26th: Snowmass: Chinese downhill end of the day today!!! Location announced at lunch time. We’ll be skiing Big Burn, Sheer Bliss, Coney Glade, Camp Ground and Sam’s Knob today.

8:30: Meet at the base at the Village Express lift.
9:30: Second Group, Meet at the base at the Village Express lift.
12:00: Lunch at Up-4-Pizza top of Bug Burn lift.
4:00: Downhill, location announced at Up-4-Pizza at lunch.
6:30: Monopalooza Dinner Party at 190 Letey Lane, Woody Creek.

Sat. Feb. 27th: Aspen Highlands: Get to the base area before 8AM to get free parking. 4 or more in your vehicle for the free parking, otherwise $13. This is a very small lot.

8:30: Meet at the base of Exhibition lift.
9:30: Second Group, Meet at the base of Exhibition lift.
11:00: Pole Race at ZG Grill, start time 11:30.
12:00: Lunch at ZG Grill.
12:45: Carnival events, 3-legged race, skate race, wheelbarrow race.
3:30: ZG Grill for Apres and awards.

Sun Feb. 28th: Ajax (Aspen Mtn.): Last day and parking is free on Sunday, this makes it easier for all of you heading out to leave easily. Get there early to secure downtown parking, there is no lot in Aspen. Parking will be difficult after 8AM.

8:30: Meet at the base area Ticket Office at Gondola Plaza.
9:30: Second Group, Meet at the Ticket Office at Gondola Plaza.
12:00: Lunch at the Sundeck, top of the mountain.
3:30: Apres at Bad Billy’s on Cooper St. Come down the stairs at the base area and head right, it’s across the street that block.
4:30: Pool Tournament.

Mon Mar. 1st Check out of the house...
Cleaning party...oh yes, it'll be a party. The cleaner the place is, the less we have to pay for cleanup. Monday Mar. 1st 11:00AM check-out and heading back to my place for whoever is staying longer.
